Bowlathon Committee Members Wanted

After a three-year hiatus due to COVID restrictions, Momiji Health Care Society’s Bowlathon Committee is seeking new members for the organizing Committee who can help generate new fundraising ideas and create interest in this year’s event.

Meetings will be held on a week night via Zoom. A commitment to attend up to four meetings and help on the day of the event – Saturday, June 10th is required. Meetings are usually not longer than two hours each.

February Community Congregate Dining Programs

This month there are Community Congregate Dining programs in the GTA Central and GTA West areas.  All luncheons start at 11:30 am.  Pre-registration is required.  To register or for more information, please contact communityservices@momiji.on.ca or call 416.261.6683, ext. 234.

Toronto Downtown– Thursday, February 2 at the Japan Foundation Toronto, 2 Bloor St. East, Suite 300, Toronto

Oakville – Wednesday, February 8 at the Halton Multicultural Council, 1092 Speers Road

Mississauga – Wednesday, February 15 at  the Toronto Christian Community Church, 3560 Erindale Station Road

Toronto West – Thursday, February 23rd at the Toronto Buddhist Church, 1011 Sheppard Ave West

  • Yard Sale Extravaganza – Saturday, August 26th
  • Japonica – Saturday, October 14th

Join Momiji for Lunch

Do you enjoy Japanese food? Meeting new people and having fun? If so, why not join one of our Momiji Community Congregate Dining Luncheons.
Momiji Health Care Society is a not-for-profit organization that serves seniors from the Japanese Canadian community, all over the Greater Toronto Area. Momiji’s Community Luncheons are held regularly for Japanese and Japanese Canadian seniors (60+) who live independently. They include a delicious Japanese bento lunch, plus guest speakers, workshops and other activities, and of course opportunities to socialize and make new friends living in your area. Luncheons are held at numerous locations around the Greater Toronto Area – there’s surely one happening near you!
