Paying tribute to the seniors in our lives who’ve helped make our country, community, and family what it is today! Festive lunch, special performances, and lots more! The price for admission only is $5, or admission & lunch is $20. There are two lunch options: Sukiyaki Bowl Barazushi Bowl Soup is included with both lunch options. Order lunch by Wednesday, September 18th with SALC staff by calling 416-261-6683, ext. 248 or 243.

This year, Japonica Live returns for two days—a whole weekend full of Japanese and Japanese Canadian culture at Momiji! On Saturday from 11am until 5pm, then on Sunday from 12 noon until 3pm. 🎎 Browse a spectacular collection of Japanese goods for sale! Curated by Momiji volunteers, the Japonica collection boasts a wide array of high-quality second-hand Japanese items, including kimono, books, artwork, dishes and lacquerware. Even specialty items like ikebana vases & accessories, dolls & doll-making kits, and more! 👘 Learn more about Japanese and Japanese Canadian culture! In between shopping, take advantage of this unique opportunity to learn from our many knowledgeable volunteers. Whether you catch one of the scheduled demonstrations or simply strike up a conversation with a sales volunteer, you are sure to end the day with a newfound appreciation for Japanese and Japanese Canadian culture. 🍱 Enjoy delicious food from local vendors! This year, we’ll be inviting vendors in to cover the food side of things—stay tuned to hear who will be joining us! See you at Momiji!
