In an event-filled 2015, today we wound down the year with family, friends and supporters at our traditional Toshikoshi Noodle Party. Happy and Healthy 2016 everyone!
We have been very fortunate over the past week to have students from two schools perform for our seniors. On December 10, students from Cedarbrook Public School performed Silk Thread involving puppetry, music and dance. On December 15, students from Riverdale Collegiate Institute returned to Momiji for a rousing Christmas concert. Thank you to everyone involved!

Momiji Health Care Society are grateful for their continued support for many years. Since 2010 we have received a total of $30,000. Without generous donors like Mitsui & Co. (Canada) Ltd we would not be able to provide quality services and programs to Japanese Canadian Seniors.

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas here at Momiji! Yesterday, the Vandermeer Nursery truck arrived and dropped off all of our plant orders — an incredible 111 plants and arrangements. Thanks to our R.H. King High School students Alyssa and Aim, the plants were delivered to our excited tenants. Thank you to everyone who bought a plant, wreath, swag or arrangement from us. We beat last year’s total, raising just under $500 for Momiji’s Programs and Services. Arigato!
