To show some spirit, we encourage everyone to wear their yukata or summer kimonos, and if you do… there will be a fun little treat just for you. To add to our festivities, there will be a few summer festival games, entertainment and a special lunch. Enjoy an afternoon of Japanese dance! Featured performers are the KIZUNA International Team (sponsored by the NAJC), Ayame-Kai, and Momiji Odori no Kai. From Yosakoi to Odori, join this celebration of Japanese dance for all ages!
The performance begins at 1:30pm and includes a 15 minute intermission. After the performances, there are workshops taught by two of the groups to learn some simple dance routines, a Q&A session to learn more from the dancers, and of course a chance to get a photo with them!
Buy your tickets on EventBrite! $10 general admission, and $5 for guests under 16 or over 60! A $6 boxed lunch is available to pre-order before January 31st along with your ticket! Feel free to come early to enjoy your lunch, because our lunch room will be open at 12:00pm!
