Momiji Health Care Society (Momiji) is pleased to announce the Momiji 14th Annual Fundraising Bowlathon, to be held on Saturday May 25, 2019. Five-Pin Teams will be bowling at Parkway Bowl, starting at 1:00 pm and Ten-Pin Teams will be bowling at World Bowl, starting at 12:30 pm. A Bento Box Dinner and Awards Ceremony will follow at Momiji Centre.
This is our 14th Annual Momiji Bowlathon, which has become a major fundraiser for Momiji. As funding sources have not kept up with the rising cost of services and the increase needs of our Seniors, these fundraising efforts have become more critical in enabling Momiji to provide the much needed services to our Tenants and to the Seniors we serve in the broader community; many of them from our Waiting List. The proceeds from last year’s Bowlathon helped support Programs and Services meet the ever increasing needs of the clients we serve.
Your donation and sponsorships are the principal fundraising sources for this event. Therefore, we strongly encourage all Team members to solicit donations from family, friends and community members so that we may better serve our Seniors at Momiji and in the broader community.
Just new this year, we are adding a “Sponsorship Program” to encourage Corporations and Organizations to become sponsors. We are also introducing the “ED Challenge” where Momiji’s Executive Director Eric Hong and our Staff are challenging the sponsors to assemble a team to compete against them for a chance to win the Momiji Cup and some fun prizes.
We look forward to a Great Turn-Out for our event this year and hope that you will take advantage of this opportunity to participate with your family and friends at this our 14th Annual Fundraising Bowlathon.
We thank you for your continued support in helping us provide the best programs and services we can for our Momiji Seniors.
Sincerely,
Gayle Cali
