On Saturday, March 22nd and Sunday, March 23rd, the community part of Momiji Seniors Centre will be transformed into a fandom utopia! Young or old, casual or hardcore fan, all are welcome to come connect with new friends at Momo Anime Market.
- Visit the Zakuro Room for artists & artisans, and shop for prints, pins, stickers, jewellery, and other unique creations
- Visit the Ichigo Room for youth vendors and general vendors selling figurines, toys, and other retail items
- Visit the Ume Room (our Auditorium) for food, snacks, and drinks from vendors and our Momiji Snack Bar
- Visit the Mikan Room for a pop-up sale run by Momiji volunteers, with gorgeous second-hand Japanese items like kimono and dishes, as well as unique clothing made by The Kimono Remake Project team
There’s plenty to do in between shopping too. Take some selfies around Momiji’s beautiful building, complete the Momo Stamp Rally, visit the colouring table, buy some raffle tickets, or check out one of our scheduled activities!
This event helps raise funds for Momiji Health Care Society, which offers culturally sensitive care to seniors living at our Seniors Centre and out in the community. You are also supporting local artists, entrepreneurs, and businesses!
